ASSURANCE FOR YOUR VICTORY

ASSURANCE FOR YOUR VICTORY

The Church And Squabble Over Material Wealth

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. Matthew 9:27-30

On many occasions and on several issues of our life, we only believe God with our mouths- which is very easy to do and not with our hearts, that is the reason why sometimes we miss our miracles and wallow in defeat and wants contrary to Divine plan.
"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want" Psalm 23:1-2

NOT MOUTH BUT THE HEART

Assurance is simply" freedom from doubt and unbelief regarding a person or his/her  abilities.
Jesus stating God's displeasure of a lipful assurance of people towards Him said.

"This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. Matthew 15:8"

God cannot be mocked!

It's easy for us to deceive ourselves even with our own words or to deceive other people with the fruits our lips but not our hearts. Our own hear knows the Truth of every matter even before the mouth utters them. This is why God looks into the heart to access people.. for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 1 Sam.16:7.

Because, As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.
Proverbs 27:19

Beloved, the Truth is "God cannot do for you, what you can't believe Him for!

Read the story of Jesus and Martha:

"Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world" John 11:23-27

Be Angry But Sin Not; Examining words

This is a fact that God loves to clarify. With all the Revelations and manifestations of both His Person and His Power, God still asks us this, with respect to our individual needs from Him... "Believest thou this?"

Therefore, to avoid our seeking Him in vain, His mercy keeps reminding us, saying " If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.. Mark 9:23-24

When it comes to receiving your victory over the challenges of life, it's about your own personal assurance of God's ability to do what you desire of God (Him) at that point in time.

Hence, Jesus asked these Two needy, under sieged-blind-men, " do you believe I can do this?
"And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. Matt.9:28

Their fate was decided by the Word
"According to your faith be it unto you"

GOD AND HIS CAPACITY

The Capacity and Strength of God is everlastingly unlimited, it cannot be exhausted, made to be weary and yet, does not belittle anything that has to do with His Children. You can never ask God something too big, much or too little to catch His attention.
"Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom. Job 36:5
Stop it, away with such ignorant humility and pretense, comparing God with man. Can you weary God?
"Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?" Isaiah 7:11,13
God is the Almighty, there's no searching of His understanding. There's no impossibility with Him, therefore "He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them" Hebrews 7:25

GOD AND OUR FAITH

Concerning our Faith, the word of the Lord says:

"Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth Rom.14:22-23 and

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb.11:6

FINAL WORDS:

I believe what God is teaching us today, is that some times, it's better to ask ourself the Questions like:

I'm I sure God can do this or will God do this, or better still, can I or am I ready to receive this miracle from God?

Let's clear our hearts in assurance of faith,  else we'll end up blaming God, when we're to be blamed, for not Truly Trusting believing God as we should.

The father of the sick child was very loud to declare " but your disciples could not cure him" when his heart couldn't Trust them to heal him. How do I know this?..
He continued in the same mindset when said to Jesus Christ " if you can do anything"?

Christian Marriage: How to Find Gods will

Thank God, Jesus knowingly replied him, 'ANYTHING?..NO!......BUT, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. Mark 9:23-24

His repentance and restitution gave him the instant miracle he so desired, but was about to loose.

However, Whenever you're walking in sin or you're doubting either your ability to receive or God's ability to do it, you end up sinking your victory ship; There'll be a miscarriage in the realm of faith, leading to delay, defeat or both as it was with Peter sinking in the sea.

"And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? Matt.14:29-31

Remember, the Lord says to us -"

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Mrk.11:23-26

Finally, my beloved, with respect to the issues of your concern, the Lord is saying..

"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised) Hebrews 10:22-23

Dear one, how assured are you that God Can and that God will do it? God is and can be trusted to be Faithful!
This is where your miracle lie!

PRAYER:

1. Let's ask God to forgive us every sin of unbelief
2. Pray that God helps our unbelief.
